Domestication – the macabre that lurks beneath the linen and the lace.

These photos, created with iPhone apps, are an illustration of progress toward a series of images that will be titled “Dining In” and on exhibition at Tap Gallery, Sydney, from 26th May – 8th June 2014.

I have blogged the progress and thoughts behind the series at https://defloweredart.com/the-resolution-of-the-digital-series-dining-in

I created all the work on my iPhone using various camera and fx apps. As I progressed through the body of work I found themes of domestication, womanhood, madness, devilry and finally beauty.

Each piece is presented in original size with very little text, visceral reactions are the goal.

All work is layered with original photos taken from my own environment.
